How to join our riding events?
The process involves two steps:
1: Sign up for the event
To sign up, contact the host of the event directly. We provide the links to the organizers for each event in the description. On their website, you can register and/or pay the fee.
2: Lease a horse
This is where we come in, and you do that right here! Click on the event below that you are interested in, and add a horse to your cart. Check out. Arrive to the event and your tacked up mount will be there waiting for you.
Important to note
If you are riding with us for the first time, please fill out our riding ability form and waiver. To participate in hunting, hunter paces, and other high-risk events, a riding ability of Experienced or above is required.
We bring experienced lease horses to these riding events:
Fall hunter pace
Three Divisions: Hunt – Junior – Pleasure. Maximum three riders to a team. If four riders, then two teams of two. Safety helmet with harness, no exceptions. Ribbons: 1st through 10th places. Lease a horse for this event. Sign up at Old Chatham Hunt Club.
Fall hunter pace
The fall hunter pace takes place on the members-only Bedford Riding Lanes Association trails. These beautifully maintained trails cover over 100 linear miles of historic riding terrain including water crossings, woodlands, open fields and both natural and man-made jumps placed throughout. Lease a horse for this event. Sign up at Bedford Riding Lanes Association.
Fall hunter pace
Our North Hunt Country offers distant views, cleared trails and pristine farmland. Only one hour from North Salem, the beauty of this area captures everyone’s attention. A wonderful lunch will be included. Lease a horse for this event. Sign up with Goldens Bridge Hounds.
Windy Hollow Hunter Pace in Warwick, NY
Paces are a great way to have weekend fun and enjoy the countryside with your family, friends and horses. Riders of all ages enjoy riding cross country in conditions similar to fox hunting in a safe, no-pressure environment. Joining our paces is also a great way to make new friends.
All participants have to register and pay a capping fee. Bring your own horse, or lease an experienced hunting horse from us.
Spring hunter pace at Golden’s Bridge Hunt
Our Spring Pace, always welcoming and relaxed, features beautiful North Salem Hunt Country and is the perfect way for you and your horse to start the season. Whether you do it all or just amble along, everyone has fun. In an effort to respect our need to social distance, we will be hosting a no-frills event so lunch is not part of the package this year and ribbons will be mailed to the winners.
All participants have to register and pay a capping fee. Bring your own horse, or lease an experienced hunting horse from us.
Summer hunter pace at Golden’s Bridge Hunt
Our Spring Pace, always welcoming and relaxed, features beautiful North Salem Hunt Country and is the perfect way for you and your horse to start the season. Whether you do it all or just amble along, everyone has fun. BRLA spring hunter pace
The Bedford Hack lasts around 2 hours, on the members-only Bedford Riding Lanes Association trails. These beautifully maintained trails cover over 100 linear miles of historic riding terrain including water crossings, woodlands, open fields and both natural and man-made jumps placed throughout.

Monmouth County thoroughbred hunter pace
Experience the beauty of the Monmouth Hunt country with an advanced MRC team and the Galloping Guru Thoroughbreds. Participants will ride a marked course approximately 6-8 miles in teams of 2 or 3. All jumps have go arounds.
